Arriving at the place of longing
Rostock, 12.05.2022 - Eight traditional and highly individual hotels, including the legendary Autograph Collection Hotel Elephant Weimar and the Romantik Hotel auf der Wartburg: How do they fit under a common umbrella brand that can be a driver of development? Together with the Berlin agency Müller-Valentini, arcona has been working intensively on this question.
Reopening for the 2023/24 winter season
Rostock/Hinterstoder, 27.04.2022 - arcona is adding an alpine jewel to its portfolio in Upper Austria: the disused Berghotel Hinterstoder is located at 1410 m above sea level directly at the middle station in the middle of the Hinterstoder World Cup ski resort (Upper Austria). This is being converted into a 4-star boutique resort and extended around the hotel with lodges in the surrounding forest.
arcona opens "Koopmanns Hotel & Lädchen" on Rügen
Rostock, Göhren/Rügen, 18.03.2022 - Arcona is expanding its portfolio on Rügen: In the spa and health resort of Göhren, just a six-minute walk from the wide sandy beach and pier, the company will be operating the former Hotel Berliner Bär under the new name "Koopmanns Hotel und Lädchen" from Easter. Until then, the gem will be completely redesigned and given a polished finish.

Company anniversary: "It's still fun even after 30 years!"
Eisenach, 15.03.2022 - The staff at the Romantik Hotel auf der Wartburg in Eisenach are just as loyal as many regular guests. Some employees have been with the hotel for many years - and some even for decades. Director Hannes Horsch has recently celebrated several anniversaries, such as Gudrun Adam's 30 years of service.

Burgcafé Gadem at Wartburg Castle invites you for coffee and cake
Eisenach, 10.02.2022 - The Burgcafé Gadem directly on the Wartburg in Eisenach is well known to all those who visit the historic sight. Unfortunately, it had to close at the end of 2021 due to coronavirus. Especially interesting for families: it will reopen for guests on February 11, 2022 - just in time for the winter school vacations in Thuringia.

Dresden Residence Orchestra as guest
Weimar, 01.02.2022 - Cooperation with arcona Hotels & Resorts: The Dresden Residence Orchestra around founder Professor Igor Malinovsky will play in early April 2022 with a small line-up both in the Lichtsaal of the Hotel Elephant Weimar and in the historic Wappensaal of the Romantik Hotel on the Wartburg.
.| Golf like the stars Golf Kids Camp at Golfclub Schloss Teschow a success
Rostock/Teschow, 03.08.2020 - At the Golf Kids Camp at Golfclub Schloss Teschow, the next generation learns everything about golf - from the first tee shot to the DGV children's golf badge. Despite corona, seven children took part in the popular camp again this year and improved their golf skills.
Due to the corona restrictions, the Kids Camp was the only course at Golfclub Schloss Teschow so far this year. Two of the participating children achieved the silver badge. Four children were delighted to receive the bronze award. One child already had the gold badge and was able to use the time on the green for further exercises.
The DGV children's golf badges are designed for girls and boys up to the age of 14 who do not yet have a license to play golf. By taking the badges, training content is conveyed that enables child-friendly and successful junior training and creates an incentive for continuous practice. The focus is on technical golfing ability and physical fitness; questions on etiquette and rules supplement the requirements.
The Kids Golf Camp at Golfclub Schloss Teschow always takes place from Monday to Thursday from 10 am to 2 pm. Lunch and a varied daily program await the youngsters: the children receive a daily mix of sports activities, fitness, golf and theory lessons and are thus introduced to the subject of golf in a playful way. Founded in 2008, arcona Hotels & Resorts, based in Rostock, is a company specializing in the operation and development of hotels. As part of its reorientation towards the leisure and vacation hotel industry, arcona sold its city hotels at the beginning of 2019. The remaining six hotels are located in established vacation destinations such as Rügen, Sylt and Kitzbühel. The well-known Hotel Elephant Weimar, the traditional Romantik Hotel auf der Wartburg and the Schloss Teschow golf club are also part of arcona's portfolio. Barefoot Hotels will be a new business segment in the future.
