Pool location at the Hotel Kaiserhof Heringsdorf: New sauna and heated pool on the roof terrace
Usedom/Rostock, June 25, 2025 - Guests at the Hotel Kaiserhof Heringsdorf, one of the leading hotels in Usedom's imperial spas, can now enjoy the pleasures of wellness at the very top with a breathtaking panoramic view of the Baltic Sea. The new 17 square meter sauna on the roof terrace was opened at the end of May. It is made of thermally treated Scandinavian pine wood, has panoramic windows, a multi-LED lighting system and benches made of Thermo-Espe. This exclusive wood has a noble, dark color and is ideal for sauna construction. The new sauna can be heated to a crisp Finnish 90 degrees Celsius and can accommodate eight seated and four reclining people, who can also enjoy infusion rituals with essential oils and Thalasso peelings.

Double top: Hotel Elephant Weimar receives two important awards
Weimar, November 26, 2024 - The Hotel Elephant Weimar impresses across the board: this is confirmed by two recent awards that not only recognize the hotel, but also the top achievements of the chef. Hotel Director Stefan Schwind celebrated the Elephant Weimar's selection as one of the “101 Best Hotels in Germany 2025” at a lavish gala on Lake Chiemsee, which is considered one of the most important industry events in the hotel industry. The jury of the renowned Aral Schlemmer Atlas had already honored chef Johannes Wallner at the end of October: He was voted one of the “50 best chefs in Germany”, as announced by the Busche publishing house at a gala in Hamburg.

The new sauna can be heated to a crisp Finnish 90 degrees Celsius and can accommodate eight seated and four reclining people, who can also enjoy infusion rituals with essential oils and Thalasso peelings.
Since February, the 16-metre long and four-metre wide pool - also on the roof terrace - has also been heated all year round. The water temperature varies slightly depending on the outside temperature, but is at least 26 degrees. An innovative insulation cover guarantees maximum energy efficiency. “Our guests enjoy an impressive sauna experience and bathing fun with a view of the Baltic Sea all year round - the perfect combination of wellness and nature experience,” says hotel director Lars Groche.

Last year, the Hotel Kaiserhof Heringsdorf, which is located in the immediate vicinity of the fine sandy beach, presented 91 newly renovated rooms and suites. Inspired by the charm of the Baltic Sea coast, warm shades of color meet elegant accents such as fine fabrics, sustainable wood panels and high-quality furnishings.
The free daily activity program, including yoga classes, is very popular with Kaiserhof guests and gives them a new lease of life. If the sun isn't shining, the winter garden with library invites you to browse. Of course, guests with children are also welcome at the Kaiserhof. Throughout the summer vacations, there are seahorse swimming courses and an extensive children's program. The newly designed rooms and suites offer enough space for the whole family.
In the Palmengarten restaurant, the Kaiserhof Heringsdorf spoils its guests with regional specialties and varied delicacies from all over the world.
